For funds and data teams

Who just won European grant money, as structured data.

EU Fund Portal turns national, university and EU grant awards, and TED contract awards, into entity-linked rows you can screen or load, with a link to the official source where the funder publishes one and a plain list of what we cannot claim.

Newly disclosed to us

Grant awards to companies that we first ingested in the last 30 days (since 26 Sept 2026), newest first, at most two per country. Bulk loads (more than 200 rows from one programme in one day), backfills and programmes new to us are left out, so this is a small, conservative slice. Real rows from the production dataset; the award date on each card is the funder's, and is often earlier than when it became visible to us.

No grant awards to companies passed our filters among records first seen in the last 30 days. We show nothing rather than older rows labelled as new. The sample below has recent awards.

Where company age and ownership exist

The winners signal can only say “young company” or “owned by a group” where we can reach a company register. Today that is a short list. Elsewhere you get the recipient, funder, amount and award date, and nothing about the company's age. “Company profiles” is the live count of register profiles we hold for that country, not a share of all winners.

Check it against your own universe

100 recent rows, public, no signup. The CSV is grant awards matched to a legal entity; the Parquet is awards linked to a listed parent, same schema as the licensed snapshot. Match method and confidence are columns.

How we source it

  • We read the funders and registers directly: national and regional grant agencies, EU programme databases (EIC, Horizon Europe) and TED contract notices. Not press releases or news coverage.
  • Rows link to the official source wherever the funder publishes one. We keep the recipient name as published and add a legal-entity match (LEI) and a listed parent only where a match is strong; method and confidence are in every row of the sample.
  • Companies are separated from universities, public bodies and funder labels before they reach the preview. Rows that fail are dropped, not repaired.
  • "Newly disclosed" means first ingested by us (first_seen_at). It is not the award date, and funders often publish weeks or months after they decide.

What we cannot claim

  • Completeness. No grant-award dimension has passed our audit, so we do not say the coverage of grant winners is complete or accurate for any country. Contract awards are audited separately.
  • Timing against any other data provider. We have not measured or back-tested our lag against terminals or databases, so we make no claim about being earlier.
  • Euro totals. Award values are often framework ceilings or total programme value. Use counts, per-award values and medians, never sums.
  • Company age and ownership outside the countries in the table above. Entity matching resolves about 19% of all grant awards; universities and small recipients mostly do not match.
  • Point-in-time history. About 72% of rows carry a September 2026 bulk-import date in first_seen_at. For backtests use award_date; first_seen_at is a true first-observed timestamp only for records ingested from now on.

Fifteen minutes on a call, or seven days with your own API key. The trial returns a few hundred rows, enough to judge the schema and the match quality.
